         TWO posts in one day?! A month or two ago, my family and I went to Chicago for our cousin's wedding! I was so excited to travel there and celebrate! I never got to posting these pictures because I've been forgetting to blog it. We went to the Bean and that was a BIG deal for me because I have been really wanting to see it! Here are my pictures of Chicago! I can't wait to someday go back!

Saturday Morning Breakfast

   Hello guys! Today I got a recipe - ish post. It has to do with food so... it should be pretty good (hopefully).
On Saturday my mom went to a prayer meeting in the morning, so that meant for breakfast we were probably going to go to McDonalds. I asked my dad if we were going to go out, and he said no, so I ask him if I can make breakfast and he said yes. I immediately went onto Pinterest and found a recipe I had repinned recently. It was a strawberry shortcake pancake recipe. My mom had gotten strawberries, which we don't always get all the time, which meant I would now be using the strawberries!

I got the recipe, put all the ingredients together and then put them on the griddle to cook. Here are some more pictures of the process....

Locks of Love

        Hey there! Recently I chopped my hair!! Well to be more specific, I donated it. I have been wanting to donate my hair because it's a nice thing to do, but also cause it's fun to change up my hair a little. If you're wondering what donating hair even is; it is when you go to a salon (you can do it at home too), tie your hair in a ponytail or braid, then cut the ponytail/braid ship it to Locks of Love who makes a wig out of it for cancer kids! Isn't that amazing! Donating my hair was on my bucket list, and now I am happy that I accomplished it :)

  I didn't want to cut it that short, but it was for cancer kids so I should be grateful that I even have a head full of hair!

Update of Randomness

Hello Bloggerista's! Long time no blog? Am I right? I haven't blogged in awhile, I know. I am just gonna go straight into this blog post of random updates! BTDubbs, this is in random order.

1. It was my dad's 40th birthday on February 1st and my mom planned to surprise him with a sea-front view of the ocean. We all went as a family and had a lot of fun!

2. I went to winter camp from January 2-5. Here are two pictures I would like to sneak in. There were so many pretty views, I had to take a pictures!

3.  I had a sleepover with my best friend Bryana! We have known each other from at least 2nd grade. I wasn't really her friend, I just knew her from church. But as the years went on and we started Junior high at church we got closer because it turned out we were gonna go to the same high school! From then on I've gotten to know her better, and I can definitely call her my best friend.

    So yeah, we had a sleepover at her house and made a huge cookie, played Taboo, and watched High School Musical on Netflix in our blankets because it was raining outside. We like to be girly like that.

YES, I do realize I look like I am holding her hand awkwardly. It's because the pan was still hot when we took the picture so I just put my hand under the mittens!

 4. This one is kinda big-ish. I got nominated by my teacher for the People's Choice at my school! It is a formal event that you get dressed up for. Kind of like the Oscar's (which is actually on right now as I am typing this!). Because I got nominated, my parents got me an iPhone 5s! I sound like I am spoiled. But trust me, I am grateful for the things I own! Anyways, so my teacher chose me (one person) from ALL her classes. She said she chose me because I do my homework and listen in class and have integrity. I honestly DO NOT see how I deserved this award because I don't see myself as those things. I am not suppose to be getting the credit. God is. So she had to have a speech on why she chose me, then I had to give an acceptance speech. I had to TALK in front of EVERYONE. When my mom told me this I freaked and actually shed some tears because I hate talking in front of a big crowd. Yes, I'm weird like that.

Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!

    Hello Bloggeristas! How have you guys been this past week? I have been with family. Christmas eve with some of our cousins, then more cousins on Christmas Day! I hope you had a jolly-filled holiday! I did! For Christmas I got gift cards to Target, JCPenney, and iTunes & a purse that I wanted that was from Target. I got other things too such as a towel/spa set and perfume set. I am grateful for my presents and am thankful for the people who gave them to me. Just remember CHRISTmas is about Christ being brought into this world to save us all from our sins. So, yes, JESUS is the reason for the season; NOT Santa Claus.

     It is December 30 and tomorrow is the last day of 2013! 2013 is OVER? Like, come one! You've got to be kidding because that was pretty fast! I can't believe that it's over! This year was kinda big for me. I started public high school from being homeschooled for 9 years; so yes that's kind of a big deal for me. I graduated 8th grade. I went to Regen (our church's camp that is held during the summer). I met new people from school. It was a good year overall! I do have one specific new year's resolution I want to accomplish is reading my Bible everyday for the whole year. I do have other ones but that's the one I can think of right now.
