Infamous Projector

Hey Bloggeristas, this weekend I had a sleepover with my close friend Yeva! We've literally known each other since birth! For the night, I wanted to watch a movie outside with a projector. Our family doesn't have a projector handy so we tried to make one off of Pinterest as a DIY. It was pretty simple to make.
We had the popcorn ready and everything. My sister, Sarah, didn't pop the popcorn very well so she was counting all the kernels. There were so many kernels that she wanted to count all of them. 188 was the lucky number!
We were patiently waiting for the night to come so we can watch a movie with our makeshift projector. We wanted it to be pitch black out so we can see how it will turn out.
Here are some pictures of our infamous projector...
Sarah wanted to pose with it ;)

In the end it didn't work and since it was getting late all the mosquitos and other bugs were coming out. We had our blankets so we can all be warm while watching the movie. SO we ended up screaming when the bugs came and just watched High School Musical on my laptop in my warm, bug free room. I layed out the sleeping blankets in the room and we watched/sang along to High School Musical. I was the first one to sleep...

Sous Chef Andrew

On Tuesday, my brother Andrew and I made lemon-lime squares! He always asks me if he can help whenever I bake something, so this time I asked him if he can help me; and HE DID!
I made sure he washed his hands. He helped me mix the crust of the lemon squares and spread it out in the dish.
He looked like he was having fun! When I said you can just use your fingers and hands he was shocked. He went in there and spread it out very well! After spreading it out he went and played on some sort of video game system and I just finished the rest of the lemon-lime squares.
I HAD to take a picture with him and our finished product. I can now always remember the day Andrew helped me bake lemon-lime squares!
Here is a close up of the finished product!

Donut Goodies

Today was my LAST day of school for the year! I'm so glad it's over for now, but it feels weird cause I keep thinking I have homework over the weekend! My mom treated my siblings and I to Jack in the Box for lunch today and after we ate I threw away all my assignments from this year... I recycled so much paper, it's not even funny. Later today I decided to make donuts, because I wanted to make little goodies for my friends.

I made a donut recipe from my Taste of Home *baking* Cookbook. It's a carrot cake donut recipe and it turned out ok

I used my mini donut maker, but this recipe was meant more for an oven.
Gotta get that macro shot!
I put them in bags and then tied a ribbon around them to make it look presentable
Here is the finished product!

Hopefully I'll get to blog a lot this summer and take more pictures! See ya soon!
